外景地說明：
電影一開始的高山是九州的阿蘇山，而如珍珠般串聯的群島為長崎的九十九島。畫面轉到勝元時，則鏡頭又拉到了紐西蘭。
九十九島的拍攝工作於2003年9月21日的黃昏進行。
